Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, board the vehicle that will take you to your respective hotel. Cochin is a coastal city that lies on the western coast of Peninsular India. This port city enthralls travelers with its historical monuments, beaches and lush environs. Some of the major landmarks of this place are St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace and Santa Cruz Basilica. After arrival at the hotel, check-in and take some rest. As the rest of the day is free for leisure activities, you may choose to savor the local cuisine, which is served at several food joints. Alternately, you can explore the bustling markets and streets of Cochin to shop for souvenirs. After a memorable day, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Pick up from Cochin and drive to Munnar. Visit Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls, Tea Plantations, and Spice Garden on the way. Reach Munnar and rest for the day at the hotel.
Suggest starting at 9 am for sightseeing with Eravikulam National park visit followed by Tea Museum. Post lunch, we visit the Mattuppetty dam, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Viewpoints, Pothamedu view point and Botanical Garden. Note: The Eravikulam National Park tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter. The park is closed from Feb to April due to the breeding time of goats. Tea Museum is closed on Monday.
Suggest to start by 9am as Munnar to Thekkady will take 3-4 hours. On reaching Thekkady, you may go for Periyar boating to see the Periyar wild life sanctuary (Tickets can be booked in advance or at the counter). In the evening, you can go for optional activities like Kathakali, Elephant ride, Elephant bath, Musical fountain, and Ayurveda massages. All the activities have separate entrance fees.
Drive to a resort at Alleppey. Visit the Alleppey beach and can go shopping. Enjoy all the amenities of the resort for a day. Overnight stay at the same resort.
Alleppey to Kovalam can take 4 to 7 hours depending on the rush on the road. Hence it is suggested to start early from Alleppey to avoid traffic. On reaching Kovalam, you can visit beaches and move to the hotel for your stay.
On this day, we can either go on the Trivandrum city tour or can spend time at Kovalam beach till evening. Trivandrum sightseeing includes Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthiramalika Palace museum, Napier museum, Sree Chithra art gallery, Zoological park, Kanakakunnu Palace, Azhimala temple and Planetarium. Overnight stay at Kovalam. Temple opens from 5 am to 11 am and 3 pm to 6:30 pm. Museum, Palace, Art gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium are closed on Monday.
Drive to Kanyakumari, which is the southern tip of India. Sightseeing includes Kanyakumari beach, which is the Sangam of the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and Arabian sea. Visit Vivekananda rock(8Am to 4PM). Watch the sunset and stay at Kanyakumari.
Drive to Rameshwaram. At Rameswaram, you can visit Hanuman temple, Pamban Bridge, Navpanigriham, Dahanskodi, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, 24 Kundalas, Ram Paravath, Sita Paravath, Hanuman Paravath, and Vishnu Temple. Overnight stay at Rameswaram.

It is advisable to book a return flight or train from Trivandrum to save traveling time to Cochin. For the Trivandrum drop, sightseeing continues at Trivandrum.
